28. May – Welcome to Iceland
Upon arrival, you will go with a privat driver or scheduled bus to your hotel in Reykjavik. On the way to the hotel you have the oportunity to stop at Blue Lagoon and take a bath in geothermally heated water (depending on arrival though). After the bath you will do to your hotel hotel for check in and overnight stay.
29. May - The Valkyries by Wagner
Today you can discover Reykjavik, start exploring the art galleries in Reykjavik, go on one of the daytours we are offering or isit the Blue Lagoon if you missed it on the way to Reykjavik.
The opera Valkyries starts at 18:30 so we recommend a early dinner in Kolabrautin located in Harpa Concert and conference Hall where the opera will be performed.
30. May - Art Galleries
This day is the perfect day to discover Reykjavik and what is going on in Icelandic Culture Life. Included in the package is one admission per person for The Reykjavik Art Museum (including entrance to three museums: Hafnarhus, Kjarvalsstadir and Asmundasafn). And one admission per person for The National Gallery of Iceland (including entrance to three museums: National Gallery of Iceland, Sigurjon Olafsson Museum and Asgrimur Jonsson collection). Each ticket is valid for one day.
31. May - Departure
Today you can either take the flight bus or your private driver will take you to the airport for your departure.
You will need to leave your hotel 3-4 hours before departure of your flight.
Another option is to stay longer and explore more about Iceland, its beautiful nature and colourful culture.
The Reykjavik Arts Festival will officially start 6th June 2020.
